Whether your child is working on sounds like “S” “R” or “L” , Miss Sydney uses a variety of evidence-based techniques—including tactile cues, visual supports, auditory discrimination, and modeling—to support correct sound production.
Language Therapy
Language therapy supports children in both understanding and using words to communicate effectively. Receptive language skills include the ability to follow directions, understand WH questions, and make sense of what others say. Expressive language involves using words, phrases, and sentences to share thoughts, needs, and ideas. Miss Sydney uses engaging, play-based activities to build vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, and comprehension.
Social Pragmatic Therapy
Social pragmatic language therapy helps children develop the skills they need to connect and communicate successfully with others. This includes understanding body language, facial expressions, turn taking, staying on topic, asking/answering questions appropriately, and knowing how to adapt language in different social settings. Miss Sydney uses role-playing, visual supports, modeling, and real-life practice to help children build strong social communication.
Parent/Teacher Training
Miss Sydney believes that meaningful progress happens when everyone is on the same team. Star Path offers individualized coaching for both parents and teachers to help support communication development across all settings. Coaching may include practical strategies for encouraging speech at home, guidance on communication challenges, and tools for supporting carryover of therapy goals.

We do not accept insurance at this time. All services are private pay, which allows us to offer flexible, individualized care without the limitations of insurance requirements.
Where are appointments held?
Therapy sessions are held in your home for your child’s comfort and convenience. With prior approval, sessions can also take place at your child’s daycare, school, or virtual to support learning in multiple settings.
